For me, having my kitchen clean and ready in the morning is the best thing. It helps to keep things stress free and everything is ready to just dive in and do breakfast.
So every night after the boys have been put to bed and while the hubby and I are talking I am doing a quick and simple 5 step nighttime reset routine.
Here is my nighttime reset routine to help with a stress free next morning.
I start off with loading the dishwasher and turning it on.
Once that is on I then turn my attention to the stove top. I don’t know why but I always end up spilling something on there when I am use it. My go to cleaning product on my stove top is either the Pink Stuff Miracle Cleaner or the Astonish Cream Cleaner Lemon Fresh and the scrub mummy.
I then move onto the kitchen bench. For this, I just like to give it a quick wipe down with a damp cloth and remove any crumbs. I then give it a spray with my fav Flash Natural French Soap spray and leave it to sit for 10 minutes.
While this is sitting I move onto the high chair.
I give the high chair tray a wipe down with a damp cloth and then I spray the Milton Antibacterial Surface Spray and leave it to sit for 10 minutes.
While that is sitting I give the kitchen a quick wiz with the vacuum cleaner.
The reason I let the sprays sit for 10 minutes is to give them plenty of time to kill the bacteria and to help loosen any mess that might be stuck on the surfaces.
After I have vacuumed I go back to the kitchen bench and scrub the bench and drain and then give it a wipe down with my kitchen Minky. I then go and scrub and wipe down the high chair with my second kitchen Minky. Place all my cleaning products back safely away and then I just walk around and pick up any of Damian’s bottles that have been thrown on the floor or any food that I have missed.
Once this has been done I put the kettle on and my quick nighttime routine is done and we are ready for tomorrow.
Does anyone else have a nighttime reset routine? For my it’s just doing a quick cleaning of the kitchen, the highchair, making sure the dishes are on in the dishwasher and everything is ready for the morning.
